Located in Kingsholme in northern Gold Coast, CCA Winslow had successfully delivered the initial stages of prestige acreage lots at Montego Hills. The site presented challenges from extremely hard rock that required blasting to managing organic material unsuitable for construction. CCA Winslow worked collaboratively with the client, consultant and council to implement the best solutions and maintain programme.
Notable achievements to date include moving 400,000m3 of earthworks ahead of schedule, drill and blasting of 10,000m3 of rock, reconstruction of one kilometre of heavily trafficked Upper Ormeau Road, construction of 3km of fire trails, and relocation of approximately 200 turtles from a redundant dam.
