We employ a team of highly qualified Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) professionals. Our HSEQ team work to further the safety culture at CCA Winslow by providing advice and support and are constantly striving for

improvement by regularly reviewing and refining hazard controls. Our successful campaigns such as ‘Not on My Watch’ and ‘Take 5′’ highlights our positive reinforcement for health and safety strategies. We encourage employees to speak out about health and safety concerns, to engage with our active site HSEQ coordinators, and to participate in safety audits.

CCA Winslow maintains certification to AS/NZS 4801:2001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems), AS/NZS ISO 14001:2004 (Environmental Management Systems) and accreditation with the Office of the Federal Safety Commission.

We ensure all of our sites strictly comply with legislation and regulations to minimize our environmental impact and maintain safety and sustainability.

In identifying potentially disruptive actions, we work with the relevant parties to determine environmental solutions and apply appropriate rehabilitation to areas affected by our work.

Our project teams implement procedures and engage environmental experts in responding to issues including contamination and remediation. This process ensures the achievement of sustainable business outcomes, without impacting project delivery.

At CCA Winslow, we recognise that our most valuable resource is our employees. Maintaining the health and wellbeing of our employees is of utmost importance and can have a considerable effect on our quality and productivity.

Because of this, CCA Winslow is an active supporter of MATES in Construction (MIC) to raise awareness about mental health issues in the construction industry. Our employees undergo regular training held by MIC at all construction sites and are encouraged to actively participate in MIC’s awareness campaign.
